The History Of Studer
Vista Series 7
Vista 9
Following on from the Vista 5, 6, 7 and 8 desks, the Vista 9 takes the operator experience to a higher level, supplementing the Vistonics™ interface with radical and innovative TFT-based metering, FaderGlow™ and numerous other innovations.
The new metering really does give precision feedback on signal status. The channel meters are able to show mono--right through to 7.1 channel signals--in the upper section of the screen, while the lower portion can show bus assignment or for surround channels an image of the surround composite, providing a clear and easily understandable display of the surround signal.
On Tour With Studer & Billy Joel
Clair Brothers provided audio design and product for the New York City - born Joel. Bobby Thrasher and Mike Pirich teamed together to ensure the "Last Play @ Shea" would be a memorable one.
Billy Joel is truly an entertainer as his ‘Last Play At Shea’ marked the end of an era of historic concerts at Shea Stadium on Friday, July 18th. With a star-studded lineup of musicians making guest appearances throughout the evening including Tony Bennett, Garth Brooks, Steven Tyler and Roger Daltrey, Billy Joel performed the last concert at the stadium. With the help of former Beatles member Sir Paul McCartney (who played with The Beatles the first concert at the stadium on August 15, 1965), Billy Joel closed the show by accompanying McCartney on piano with a surprise version of ‘Let It Be.’
